Case Study #2
Although a relatively new home, this customer moved in to his house with these two existing horizontal cracks on his basement wall. Over
the last couple of years, he has noticed the wall beginning to bow as well.

Unfortunately for him, the cracked wall meant that the wall’s strength had been significantly diminished, and it was only a matter of time
before it began to bow. The well known “weakest link” theory holds true here, and so the wall is only as strong as the weakest
section. In this case, with two large cracks in the foundation, the wall is offering virtually no support.

We came in & stabilized the wall with a total of 4 sheets of StablWall, ensuring that the wall will not bow any further, and no additional
cracking will occur. After 48 hours, the customer can paint right over the StablWall, should he desire. With the peace of mind that
comes from knowing that the wall will never crack or bow any further, he can also finish the basement off in any way he sees fit.
