How StablWall Works

How Is StablWall Installed?

The StablWall System application process is simple, straightforward, and can be completed in less than a day, depending on how big the area is to be reinforced. Simply click on the "Next" button to follow along the step-by-step process.

Installation Step 1

Step 1 of 7
Decide where the StablWall sheets will be placed.

Installation Step 2

Step 2 of 7
Measure & mark the wall 1-2" wider than & 1-2" above & below each sheet location. Prep the wall accordingly. If the wall is painted, grind the paint off with a wire wheel bit, or better yet, use a grinder with a vacuum attached. You can also use paint stripper, if appropriate. The wall must be bare concrete and dry at the time of installation. This provides proper adherence of the carbon fiber to the concrete block.

Installation Step 3

Step 3 of 7
Apply the epoxy based crack filler to all of the cracks in the marked area.

Installation Step 4

Step 4 of 7
Apply/roll the primer within all of the marked areas.

Installation Step 5

Step 5 of 7
Apply/roll on the first thick coat of epoxy bonding adhesive onto all marked areas. You will use about 1/2 of the epoxy on the 1st application.

Installation Step 6

Step 6 of 7
Take the 2'X5' sheets of StablWall & place them by hand over the bonding adhesive. Take the ribbed roller and firmly roll from the middle of the sheet towards the ends, eliminating any air bubbles.

Installation Step 7

Step 7 of 7
Apply/roll on the 2nd coat of epoxy bonding adhesive. Use the ribbed roller to once again eliminate any air bubbles. As well, this process allows the epoxy adhesive to impregnate through the carbon fiber & bond with the original coat of epoxy, encapsulating the entire sheet in epoxy.
That's it!
